Our Story
NewOn Renewables is a boutique consultancy founded by three directors — Chris Morris, Frank Elsworth and Erik Rozendal — with 70+ years of combined onshore wind delivery experience across feasibility, development, procurement, construction, handover and repowering/decommissioning.
We're deliberately staying boutique: senior, hands-on, practitioner-led — not a body shop. Every engagement is led by a director, not handed to a graduate team.
Mission
At NewOn Renewables, our mission is to support developers, investors, owner‑operators and consultants in confidently delivering successful onshore renewables projects. We provide specialist end‑to‑end guidance across the full project lifecycle—from pre‑FID planning through construction and commissioning, right through to decommissioning and repowering. Our goal is to help our clients navigate complexity, achieve reliable outcomes, and advance the transition to a sustainable energy future.
Chris Morris — Director, Commercial & Transactions
Chris has over 30 years in the sector, holding senior roles across development, procurement, contract management, and construction delivery for onshore wind projects in the UK and Europe. He’s known for building cooperative supplier relationships, simplifying complex interfaces, and keeping projects moving toward COD.
Erik Rozendal - Director, Contracts & Construction
Erik has 30 years of construction and project management experience of which 20 years has been in onshore wind projects. He has been involved in 17 onshore wind farms in construction in Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and UK with them all safely executed, within time and budget.
Frank Elsworth — Director, Construction & Market Development
With over 19 years of experience in renewables, Frank Elsworth brings comprehensive end-to-end expertise, ranging from development and consenting to construction and handover, including significant onshore portfolios. He has effectively led procurement and construction teams, managed intricate grid and storage interfaces, and advocates for pragmatic governance that safeguards cost, schedule, and quality.
